Are Hoodia diet pills healthy to take? And do they actually work?
Do they have any harmful side effects?
Have they helped you lose weight?
I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.
Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Hoodia gordonii is worth studying?
I began a quest to bring some books and get healthier recently. To do this, I was counting calories (1,450 per day) and two miles of jogging every morning (I plan on increasing my distance / pace as time passes). My problem is that, despite eating 5-6 small meals a day and drink 2 liters of water, he always seems hungry. I implies that only my body to adapt my change in eating habits (I always stuck with healthy foods (no fast food / fried food / sweet), but now I eat smaller amounts). So my question is: Would Hoodia gordonii be useful to examine until my body adapts to my new lifestyle? I did my research and I eat the right amount of calories for my style life.
Megan: Congrats on the change of lifestyle! Sounds like you have a solid fitness plan is fine now. Keep it up. You're right when you say that your body is probably adjusting to new changes in lifestyle that you've made. The changes you made to your exercise and diet regime have stimulated your metabolism. That's why you're hungry like crazy. I am surprised, however, that you are as hungry as you are given all the water you drink. Normally, hunger can be a sign of thirst, but in your case it is probably not the cause. I'll talk about hoodia in a second, but a couple of things I would do is increase my protein intake. I would aim to include more protein in every meal. Protein is fuel for your muscles and is needed in greater quantities when you work on a regular basis. In addition, the protein is an inhibitor large appetite itself. You'd be surprised how far a handful protein will go in terms of curbing the appetite. As for hoodia, it has the potential to be an effective appetite suppressant, but it does work for everyone. It can also be very expensive (figure anywhere between $ 40 – 60 $ / Month). There are hundreds of hoodia supplements on the market, but as others have mentioned here, most of them are false – Meaning they contain very little (if any) hoodia gordonii. If you are considering hoodia, make sure you buy authentic Hoodia Gordonii. It is very easy to get scammed if you want to be informed. The two most important things to look for when buying hoodia CITES certificate is and results of independent testing laboratory. You can find these documents on the websites of companies selling hoodia diet pills. Is hoodia gordonia good or bad?
I’ve recently started taking a diet pill called ENVY which contains Hoodia Gordonia. I was ok for about 3 weeks but I’ve had 2 anxiety attacks in the last week & a half. I’ve never really had this problem before so I’m in a rut. I havent taken the pills & I’m feeling fine but if theres anyone who really knows about this herb Hoodia Gordonia any info will help.

Last year I was visiting my parents and took diet pills on top on my exercise routine and normal diet. I was 26 at the time, 5′11, 180 lbs. By week three I was sick. I had diarrhea, dry heaves, dizziness, headaches, and a general feeling of being sick. I thought I had caught the flu or something. I had lost 13 lbs in 4 days. One morning I told my mom I didn’t feel good. My vision kept blacking out and I felt (for lack of a better way to say it) stoned. Later that afternoon I was walking from the bathroom to my bedroom (a 5 foot walk) and I passed out. I was rushed to the hospital emergency where they did a bunch of tests on me.
My pulse was up to 120, My blood pressure was 150/40, they had to start me on an IV, the did an EKG on me, took blood and urine samples, and a whole barrage of other tests.
They finally got me stabilized and said that I was dehydrated and malnutritioned. I told him that I took diet pills. When I mentioned diet pill, the doctors face lit up and said that’s why. He said they can cause a whole bunch of health problems, including death. He told me to toss the diet pills or next time I might not be so lucky.
I was kept in the hospital for almost 10 hours, given 3 or 4 IVs, potassium, juices, and monitored (by the EKG, blood pressure, and heart rate machines) every 15 minutes.
Please take my story as a warning. If you seriously want to loose weight there are better ways (I know because I’ve lost weight after this)
The quickest way to lose weight is to cut out red meats, starches, breads, sugars, alcohol, and sodas.
Eat veggies (salads are good), soups, and drink TONS of water. If you get hungry between a meal, drink water to fill up.
In moderation eat white meats, and fruits (fruits contain natural sugars, and that can put on weight)
Practice portion control. Yes, you’ll feel hungry at first, but think of your goal, and soon your stomach will start shrinking and you won’t have that feeling anymore.
Eat 5 times a day. A small breakfast. A mid-morning snack, such as an apple. A small lunch. A mid-afternoon snack, such as carrots. A lite dinner. Do not eat any later than 7pm (6pm is better.)
Go exercise for at least an hour – two a day, incorporating weight training along with your cardio. Cardio helps to melt the fat, while weight training builds muscle. Muscle burns fat, even when you are resting. You get the idea. It also gives tone and definition. Also do a few yoga and pilates exercises to help tone those hard to reach and stubborn areas.
